Playmaker U has partnered with several local charities including Boys and Girls Club, Kidsport, and Big Brothers Big Sisters Edmonton to formulate our LEVEL FIELD PARTICIPATION GRANT which is now available to all qualifying athletes.
This program is in place as a method of ensuring that young athletes who would like to take advantage of our tremendous programs can do so regardless of their financial situations. 10% of each Playmaker U program will be reserved for athletes in need. These athletes only need to apply through Kidsport for funding approval. If approved, all registration fees will be paid on behalf of the applicant.
With the aid of Boys and Girls Club, and BBBS each helping to seek out and identify potential athletes for this program, Playmaker U will is able to make large strides towards truly leveling the playing field and including all athletes in this great game.
