PLAYMAKER U MINI CAMP

Mini Camp Itinerary

  • Please bring signed waivers to Registration May 29 at Clarke Stadium. Waiver’s can be downloaded here
  • Please note that there will be oranges, bananas and apples available for athletes to snack on during the break. Athletes should bring their own water bottles, and any other food that they wish to eat at that time.
  • Athletes need only to bring helmet, mouthpiece and any exercise wear they may like. Football gloves, or molded cleats are also encouraged.
  • Each athlete will receive a Playmaker U T-shirt at registration as well as an autographed coaches poster at the end of camp.

By popular demand Playmaker U is proud to be able to host Mini Camp for Atom and Peewee level players. While less technically advanced due to campers ages, Mini camp will have an emphasis on basic skill development, and will allow all players of all positions to learn fundamental skills of all other positions, and learn and interact with our stellar stable of coaches. At such a young age, we feel that it’s too early in most of these young players development athletically to know what position they are best suited to play. The most important thing for players at this age is that they enjoy the game, and learn as much as they can, to carry them into their next stage. At Playmaker U Mini Camp each young player will leave with a better knowledge of the skills required to play each position, and have a great time doing it thanks to our fantastic stable of current and past CFL greats that will be coaching them through the basics.
